The 8pm problem
It is 8pm. Again.
Bath, two books, glass of water. The landing light is on, your tea has gone cold downstairs, and you are lying on the floor of a child's bedroom hoping they do not notice you leaving.
Most nights it is not sleep that is the problem. It is the dark. An empty room that feels a bit frightening is a room nobody wants to be left alone in.
The Lunaro Halo gives that room something to look at. Not a screen and not a toy: a slow, quiet sky that gives them a reason to lie still and look up.
What it does
Two lamps, one small white box
A projector for the wind-down. A warm night light for the other eleven hours.
A ceiling, not a screen
No tablet at bedtime. Just a slow sky that gives their eyes somewhere calm to land.
Warm mode all night
Turn the projection off and the head glows soft amber. Gentle enough to sleep through, bright enough for a 3am trip to the loo.
Dims to almost nothing
Turn it down until it is barely there, or up until the whole ceiling is stars.
Five scenes included
Swap a disc in about five seconds. New sky, same lamp, which buys a surprising amount of goodwill.
Aim it anywhere
The 360 degree arm bends to the ceiling, the wall or straight over the bed without moving the lamp.
USB-C, no batteries
Runs all night from a plug or a power bank. Nothing to replace at six in the morning.
Set-up
Ready in about a minute
No app, no pairing, no account.
Plug it in
The USB-C cable and a UK plug are in the box. Stand it on the nightstand or a shelf, roughly 1 to 2.5 metres from the ceiling.
Pick a scene
Slide a disc into the lamp head and twist the ring until the stars come into focus.
Turn the lights off
Dim it to the level that suits them, then switch to the warm glow once they are asleep.
In the box
Five skies, five seconds apart
Each disc clicks into the lamp head and stores flat in the wallet, so they do not end up scratched under the bed.
Five more scenes are available as an add-on: Northern Lights, Deep Sea, Nebula, Moon Surface and Rainforest.

The honest bit
What it actually looks like
Most listings for this kind of lamp show a ceiling drenched in colour, edge to edge, in a room that is somehow still fully lit. That is not what you get, from us or from anybody else.
So here is the truth before you buy, rather than after it arrives.
- It needs a dark room. With the lights on you will barely see it. Lights off, it covers roughly 2 to 4 square metres of ceiling.
- It is a mood lamp, not a projector. No video, no HDMI, no streaming. Five still scenes and a warm night light.
- It is LED, not laser. No laser class to worry about and nothing hot to touch.
- The housing is plastic. That keeps it light and hard to break when it gets knocked off a shelf, which it will.

Choose your bundle
One for the bedroom. Or one to give.
Every order ships free within the UK and comes with the 60-night trial. Most people take two: one for the bedroom, one for a birthday that is coming up.

Gifting
The present they open first
It is the rare gift that works for a six year old, a fifteen year old and a grown-up who says they do not want anything. Nobody has to assemble it, charge it or find batteries for it.
- Wrapped for you. Navy box, satin ribbon and a card we write by hand. Add it for a few pounds at checkout.
- No prices in the parcel. Send it straight to them. There is no invoice in the box.
- Five scenes, five reactions. The discs make it feel like more than one present.
Why there are no reviews here yet
We are new, and we are not going to pretend otherwise
Lunaro Home launched this year. We do not have ten thousand reviews and we are not going to invent any. In the UK that is illegal, and honestly it is the reason nobody believes product pages any more.
So we take the risk off you instead. Keep it for sixty nights. If bedtime does not get easier, email us and we refund you. You do not need to repack it perfectly or justify yourself. If anything fails within two years, we replace it.
When real reviews start arriving they will appear on this page, the good ones and the awkward ones.

Before you ask
Questions people actually ask
Does it work with the lights on?
Not really. It is an atmosphere lamp, so it needs a dark or dim room. With the main light on you will barely see the projection. In the dark it covers roughly 2 to 4 square metres of ceiling depending on how far away you put it.
Is it safe for a child's room?
Yes. It is LED, not laser, so there is no laser class to worry about. It runs on 5V USB-C, the head does not get hot, and there is no glass to smash. As with any lamp, do not stare directly into the lens. We would not put it in a cot with a baby under three, because the discs are small.
Will the light keep them awake?
That is the reason for the warm amber mode. Blue and cool white light suppress melatonin far more than warm light does, so once your child is settling you can switch the projection off and leave the amber glow on at its lowest setting. It is dim enough to sleep through and bright enough to find the door.
Can I watch films or photos on it?
No. There is no video, no HDMI and no app. It projects five still scene discs, and that is deliberate: a still sky is calming, a moving picture is a screen.
Why is it more expensive than the one I saw on a marketplace?
Partly because of what is in the box: five discs in a wallet, a 2 metre USB-C cable and a UK plug, which the cheap versions usually leave out. Partly because of what happens afterwards: a two-year guarantee, free UK returns for 60 nights, and an email address that a person reads. If none of that matters to you, buy the cheaper one. Honestly.
How long does delivery take?
Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are sent the same day. UK delivery normally takes 2 to 4 working days and is free on every order. You get a tracking link by email as soon as it leaves us.
What if we do not get on with it?
Email us within 60 nights and we refund you. We pay the return postage within the UK and we do not need the original packaging to be perfect. That is on top of your statutory 14-day right to cancel.
Does it turn itself off?
There is no built-in timer, so it stays on until you switch it off. If you want it to go off by itself, a cheap mains timer plug from any hardware shop does the job. We would rather tell you that than claim a feature it does not have.
Can I buy more scenes later?
Yes. The Scene Pack adds Northern Lights, Deep Sea, Nebula, Moon Surface and Rainforest, and it fits every Lunaro Halo. Add it to your order and it ships in the same box.
Is it noisy?
No. Nothing rotates and there is no fan, so it is silent. Some star projectors use a motor to spin the image, which is exactly the whirring noise you do not want next to a sleeping child.
One last thing
